"Very nice hotel. We visited in late November so enjoyed lying by the outdoor pool but swimming inside! Big indoor pool and sauna. Did one of the classes which was good, and played tennis. Broad range of food. House wines were ok and not expensive. Bed was enormous. Only issue was air con was on heating mode and we were too hot, even with it off. Slept with door open. "

"It is a wondwrful hotel. However, there was construction work going on such as grinding of cement at 8:30 a.m. Bed was too hard for me and shower was slippery. Tge hotel provided a mattress topper and a shower mat. Made all the difference. "

"It's a beautiful hotel, with a laid back feel and design. The gardens are carefully designed, planted and maintained. There's a lilypond with frogs! The staff are unerringly charming and helpful. The cocktails are top quality. It doesn't feel like an anonymous big chain hotel. Food - excellent. Only downsides...indoor pool is beautiful but jacuzzi and changing area need an upgrade. Some of the entertainment was local and impressive...the English duo were....more Butlins for me. But some guests...

"My partner and I had a fantastic time in Albufeira, celebrating our 25th year anniversary! Jorge at the hotel gave a 5 star service, always very helpful and jovial who gave us room 509 with an absolute magnificent sea view! They served very fresh and varied buffet breakfast, with both English and continental choices and more. The hotel is about 12-15 minutes walk from the old town center. It is a bit up hill going back to the hotel, but Uber cars are very cheap and always readily available. We...

"Well we flew from the U.K. to discover that the hotel had closed down in April and Expedia had not told us. We then had to find accommodation in the busiest two weeks of the season (it was also the Portuguese holidays during the two weeks). So not a great Expedia experience!!! "
