"The reception staff were helpful, making our check-in process easy. The room was of a good standard, except the headboards showed some signs of damage/wear and tear, and clearly needed replacing. When we mentioned this to reception staff later, we were told that the hotel was in the process of replacing all of the headboards, and our room was due to be done soon. "A so-so stay. My dad wanted this break to be special as part of my mum’s birthday and we found our stay to be underwhelming. Firstly, through some research it appears that this hotel is no longer a part of the main Hilton group. This wasn’t communicated to us and caused a little anxiety not knowing if the booking was still valid or not.
