"Yotel is at a good walking location to restaurants, shopping, train station, Johnie Walker and Christmas Market if you are visiting that time of year. Rooms are very small didn't have much space to open my suitcase, basically a bed, TV on the wall and shower. Room did have a mini fridge. Front desk employees were very welcoming & helpful. Hotel did provide 24hrs free coffee & tea in the bar area."

"The location is ideal! It is a short walk from the train station with bus and tram stops steps away. Even though it is right on a busy road it is a quiet sanctuary. The room was a peaceful place to end every day of walking this gorgeous clean city. The breakfast buffet was a delicious way to begin each day. It was the only hotel in my price range that offered 2 twin beds in the same room. Unlike the US, a “double room” means 1 bed for 2 people. "

"We booked for a short 5 day stay and were glad to realise it was such a close proximity to restaurants, souvenir stores, Victoria Street and the famous Edinburgh castle! The staff were friendly upon arrival HOWEVER we were told by one gentlemen that our room was not ready but to rest assure when it would be, we would have a wonderful view of the castle during our stay. When our time came to check in a women gave us our room but it was on the opposite end of the hotel so we did not get the view...

However the hospitality team that delt woth the rooms (fresh towels, toilet roll etc.) Where very slow, last time we requested fresh towels in the morning to get a shower we didnt get them till a few hours later. The food was expensive, however very tasty and worth the price. Overall though they were good and would stay here agian."
