Gulf Coast 5 Stars Hotels

"Our favorite property that we've stayed at on Disney property (the past couple times, we've stayed at Grand Floridian). Was a nice and well kept property. Clean and beds were comfortable. Great restaurant options. Only downside was not having monorail to go straight to hotel, but it was super easy to jump in an uber at the park for a quick ride home (and we set up a car to pick up at designated time through Mears, which were great). Will definitely comeback for our next Disney stay!"

"Beautiful hotel. We got unlucky and the cleaning service forgot to wash the bathtub prior to our stay. It had many dark hairs all over it and was unusable our first night as we got in late from the airport. We wanted to use it. The next day we called the front desk at 9am and went to the beach. When we came back at noon it still wasn't clean and we had to call again. Finally when we came in at 3 again it had been cleaned but a long and obvious hair was still there. I gave up and cleaned it...

"Excellent stay. We were upgraded to a beautiful two BR suite on a high floor with ocean views. The service was impeccable throughout. Cleaning service was very thorough and would call to see when we wanted service. The resort location is the best - away from the hustle of South Beach but easy enough to walk to all the great restaurants. Only drawback is adult pool is small and shady - and one elevator of four was out of service during our week. But we had an excellent stay overall, and the beach...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 30th Anniversary staycation at the Thompson! The staff was amazing and all of the outings that we were driven to in the House Car by Connie were fantastic. The champagne and cheesecake that was unexpectedly delivered to our room for our anniversary was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!"
