"Cute & clean. Front desk clerk was not too friendly. Travelers might like a smile or sense of welcome. It's just part of the experience. I felt like we were a chore to be dispensed with. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt as maybe there was something difficult in her day, but that attitude should not continue. We liked our room and liked otherwise the ambiance here, so we will come again. But if we find the clerk is similarly not too friendly next time, I'm going to call the Inn's manager."

"The complimentary breakfast and evening reception are always the perks for staying at this hotel. They do a good job. What I didn’t like about the stay this time was the gym not equipped with water and towel, the parking was used to be free, but now they charge $15 per day. The parking lot is shared by nearby businesses, and it’s free! So, I don’t understand why they can charge for parking which is free to anybody but the hotel guests. "

"This was good for our stay in SLO. We went to the college, spent time downtown and did some hiking. All were easy to get to from here. We would stay again! The hot tub and pool were closed for repairs. This was the only downside."

"Room was very big and bathroom was nice. Easy parking. Close to downtown. Patio on the top is really nice. I had an inconvenience with the room that we booked. The jet bathtub we were unable to use it due to a mechanical issue. Also the AC in the room I think needed to be upgraded or fixed because it was very loud and throughout the night it was hard to sleep. I notified the front desk and they were able to give me some compensation for the issues. But overall nice place! "
