"This is a very creative hotel with unique guest rooms but watch your head as the upper level is the sleeping place so the living area below has a low ceiling. Very interesting and creative but found it somewhat different to navigate at night as you need to go down the right stairs to the bathroom. The staff is excellent and very helpful and friendly. "Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted.
