「We stayed at The Bear Inn for two nights (21st & 22nd December) and ate in the restaurant the evening of Sunday 22nd. Our room was great; very clean with a comfy bed, quiet and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast both mornings was excellent as was our meal on December 22nd. Each time the staff were hard working, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always there with a laugh and a smile. We'd definitely consider staying at The Bear Inn again when we're next on our travels as it's...

「Everything was good apart from trying to find the inn on arrival. We were informed that Bower Lane was closed and spent 30 minutes driving around the local housing estates! Breakfast service was very slow, but found out the pilot light in the kitchen had gone out. Room was great. 」

「Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. 」
