「Excellent stay. Really friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast was great (poached eggs the best I've ever had). Really helpful with ideas of where to visit, what to see and where to eat. Couple of great recommendations for food. Location is right in the heart of this small town and with pubs and restaurants within a short stroll. Electric charging onsite is a bonus!! Highly recommended」

「Cosy and comfortable. Decent bedding and excellent duvet. Really nice breakast. The bathroom safety rails should be replaced as very rusty but plenty of hot water. Overall very clean, only let down by the rusty rails in the bathroom. Wouldnt put me off staying again, it was so peaceful and comfortable.」

「I got the single bedroom, it was compact with shared common toilet. There was a nice shower and sink in the room. Pillow was filthy with yellow stains. Single bed duvet. The bed being a single was cramped, probably not suit a 6ft or taller person. 」

「We had the twin room with the bathroom across the corridor. Due to this dressing gowns were provided which were large and cosy. Very large room with space for 2 chairs and coffee table. Breakfast for £5 was amazing! Good ale. 」

「The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.」
