「Great hotel. Building is 1919 and renovated approx a year ago. Rooms are small studios (bath and shower separate from the sink which is in the studio) Hotel has a renovated factory warehouse feel--although this building was a social club. Exposed brick, hardwood floors etc. Really nice stay. Tons of free parking and cool restaurants all within walking.」

「I checked in later in the day so the only person I had contact with was the front desk lady. She was personable and professional and the check in process went smoothly. The room was very nice and clean which is always what everyone wants. It was dark when I arrived and left so I did not see any of the surrounding area.」

「I was very pleased with the hotel. I was a little nervous because it was cheaper than other hotels. But the hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable beds, a nice hot breakfast. I would definitely stay again」

「The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.」

「Check in was a breeze as usual. The room we got smelled really bad when we walked in but narrowed that down to something in the garbage disposal in the sink. Turned it on and the smell was gone by the time we came back from dinner. That was the only bad thing we encountered. The hot tub was great, breakfast options were slim but good. All around a great stay as always. Still our favorite go-to hotel in this city. 」
