I think it was cool that the place was off a steep cliff. The staff was very friendly and even allowed me to check in at 11 am instead of 4 which I appreciated since I flew on and drove 3 hours . Would recommend "

"Nicely updated old motel-come-lodge. Our room was a little musty but opening the balcony door helped. Very convenient location to App State. Floor is finished concrete so helpful if you have a pet or want to avoid hotel carpet. "

"The Victorian Inn was a quiet getaway. It's very convenient and in walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock. The tub was wonderful for soaking and the fireplace an added bonus for a waking up to snow. We would definitely stay again. "
