「The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April.」

「Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would definitely return to the hotel. The room was excellent with everything I needed. The bed was really comfy and the pillows were so lovely. Lovely cooked breakfast and great alternative selection. 」

「Slightly understaffed we thought. Staff were very pleasant and exceptionally well trained in service and knowledge of menu’s. Breakfast was cooked to order which is always a good sign. Some areas, like windows, were dirty, but hotel was clean. Main areas were well decorated. Bedrooms less so with signs of wear and tear. 」

「Overall very nice indeed and would definitely stay again. Food was delicious but service at breakfast and dinner a little disappointing and not very well organised. TV in our room should be bigger; no low level lighting in the bathroom meaning bright light shone onto the bed if the bathroom was used in the night. Also toilet seat not soft closing, looked cheap and could do with being replaced. Small complaints but relevant for a five star hotel.」

「Perfect onsite parking directly outside the hotel. 5mins walk to the beach and other attractions, shops, arcades etc. Old building with dated decor, carpets and rooms. Still had everything needed to have an enjoyable stay, fridge, microwave and kettle in room. A lift in main reception which I used to take my luggage up to 3rd floor. At £35 a night, I will definitely be booking again. Very pleasant front of house staff 😊」

「The Lyndhurst was perfect for our stay as we just needed a room while visiting family. The location is perfect if you want to be super central and walking distance from the beach and attractions. The room itself was small but big enough to fit everything you need in it. Its was decorated nicely and comfortable. 」
