"The Koi is a decent hotel to stay. Staff are friendly, and the pool area is beautiful. We were there for 5 nights and our room was never replenished for coffee, water, or soap. The mugs in the room were only rinsed and put back. The hotel is waterfront, but there is a barrier and it is not accessible. They do have a shuttle to another beach, but since we had a car we just drove around ourselves. There is not much within walking distance. "

"The resort is in an amazing location in a mountain area. The staff is awesome, the chefs are Michelin star quality. Full gym, great pool area, great hiking, you will see plenty of wildlife. The rooms are awesome, like living with outdoors feeling. Definitely get a pool room, it’s the best. They are in the process of reconditioning many cottages and common amenities, but you can see good progress. "We really enjoyed our time here! Rooms were nice, loved the balcony/porches, beautiful view of the water, chairs available on the beach, nice bar/restaurant!! I would say not much is walkable, maybe a couple restaurants and water taxi dock are walkable, other restaurants, beaches, etc require transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!"
