「The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre...

「It did the job! Reasonably priced, we just needed somewhere to stay the night before transferring to Nevis. It's very well located for the passenger ferry port. The area near the property has some restaurants and bars, almost all un-usable due to extraordinarily loud music. During the day time, shops prop their doors open with massive speakers, blaring ludicrously loud music.」

「The property was being upgraded with an additional floor so there was some excuse able construction and debris but the room is clean and modern. I would recommend.」

「Great property, 4 star quality. Grounds are beautiful, food is great! But it’s expensive, the rooms with pool are great, but the pools are not heated, so if you coming in lower temp dates, 80-85 pools are cool, including the personal and common pools. 」

「If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed...

「The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend」

「Facing the Atlantic Ocean, I can hear the sound of waves lulling me to sleep at night, which helps me sleep very well. While the location is a bit distant from the city center, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy tranquility. The room is very new, with many amenities just replaced, though it lacks some electrical appliances like a hairdryer and kettle, perhaps because it has just opened. The staff's service is exceptional, always there to assist me.」

「This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast).
