「The ground floor room in the annex was comfortable, we felt it definitely needed a Venetian blind at the window as the car park was right outside the bedroom so no privacy there then!!! The bathroom certainly needed a face lift we felt it was rather scruffy in places. But having said these comments overall a nice stay and lovely breakfast in a georgeous setting and good value.hope to stay again.」

「Our hosts were great. They upgraded us to a bigger room as they had the space. The food was really good and plenty of it at fantastic prices. Our room had an electric fire which was very useful as the weather was cold for June. Overall it was an old quirky character full property with really friendly owners. 「sorted our luggage on arrival around 10.30 allowing us to walk all day. check in on return quick & efficient but room disappointing small & cramped. shower door fell off on second morning and to get the correct shower temperature it was necessary to run the washbasin hot tap whilst showering. nowhere to store cases and little room for toiletries in bathroom. great location and food but disappointing accommodation 」

「We actually stayed for 2 days , staff very good , first night we got taxi to Clitheroe for food and drinks , Clitheroe is a nice town . 「Amazing stay from start to finish. Secure Carpark .staff friendly. The room was beautifully decorated. Great nights sleep. Very clean .tea and coffee facilities in the room.
