"This was an affordable option in a touristy area. The hotel is old, but the rooms have been renovated with new carpets and bathrooms. The single room was small, but I had room to open my large suitcase on the floor when I moved the chair. I had a very nice seaside view from my window. The breakfast was fantastic. "If I could rate just staff and setting, it would be 6/5! Akram and Tuan were the pillars of hospitality and so kind. The setting and view of the hotel (the deck!) was unbelievable, as were the nearby Silver Sands. That said, I echo others in saying the price does not match the quality of the rooms. This hotel really is in need of renovation. The downstairs common area and dining room are lovely, so hopefully the rooms can eventually meet this standard. I’m really rooting for the Morar Hotel...

"I had a fantastic stay at Skye Inn! The place has a really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The location is also a big plus—just a short and easy walk to the town centre and harbour, making it perfect for exploring Inverness. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit small And less utilities. "

"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...
