「Keeping in mind that this is a small family run hotel in the Avila old town I am giving it my highest rating. This is not an international style 5 star, so don’t expect that. First the staff, some of which I presume are the owners, (José, Ricardo, Diego, Victor and one whose name I missed) were extremely helpful and friendly. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. 「Fantastic location and rooms are very comfy. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English well. We had a great time in Avila and the fact that this is right at the castle gate and forms part of the castle wall makes this place so special as well as easy to get to. Parking is secure and easy too.」
