"After a long Camino walk it was nice to rest in my hotel room that had a view of the water and castle walls. The check in was lengthy and I did not feel treated like the other guests as I had just come off the trail. Service in bar was great. "

"We enjoyed our stay and appreciated how helpful the front desk staff were. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be the breakfast…no fresh orange juice, no fruit of any kind, no eggs of any kind, no ham and cheese…these have all been standard wherever we have stayed in Spain. "

"I was very happy with my stay at this location of a Parador. My room was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The room retained the style of the building. One strange thing was that the chairs for sitting were really short. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices plus you could order omelets and espresso drinks. I wish the restaurant opened at 7am"

"A good option if you want to spend time in Cambados- very central and within 2 minutes walk of the old town and very nice restaurants. Great to have a pool as well (albeit it doesn’t open until 11am). This is not, however, as nice as other paradors we have stayed at- the bathroom was tired, the room smaller than others and the aircon was poor. Some of the staff were also not very helpful. That all said, it’s still a great base to explore the region- just not a destination in itself."

"Great staff and good location between train station and old town. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative was the bathroom door was frosted glass and semi transparent, so there was limited privacy. "

"Easy hotel to locate and park. A very warm welcome from the host with all procedures well explained. This hotel has an elevator to take bags up to rooms. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size and works well. We slept very well and ate a lovely continental breakfast each morning with espresso coffees. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are considering a return stay. Excellent value for your Euro and a worthwhile stay. Thank you Robert. "

"The property has huge bay windows and no buildings blocking your view of the estuary. It is by the Vigo Uzaiaz train station and taxi stand. There is an activity park across the street and a boardgame store on the same block. Easy walk to old town and Castelo do Castro"
