「The room was very pleasant. It was very warm in the room even with the radiator off and window open. Could do with more power sockets and one by the bed but otherwise absolutely fine. Breakfast was good too. We had lunch in the restaurant which was pricey but very good quality. Drinks expensive but l think that’s par for the course in a hotel 」

「Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. 」

「From the moment i got there i was made to feel welcome, its a lovely old building with tons of character, even down to little mice painted on the skirting boards. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate meals and even came out to chat to understand what i wanted. I will certainly be staying there again and would recommend to anyone. Phil (Shropshire)」

「This hotel was acceptable for the price, it is very tired looking and dated, the breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, natural yogurt, toast, fresh coffee, tea, orange juice, full English, croissants, ham and cheese baguette. We didn’t try the food at other meal times. There was a full bar which was reasonably priced. Lift to all floors. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially the waitress at breakfast, unfortunately I don’t recall her name...

「We really enjoyed our stay, the wood fired hot tub worked surprisingly well and was quite quick, the kitchen was well stocked with pots pans utensils etc. There was a dehumidifier to control the moisture and it really helped dry our swimwear. The adirondack chairs in the morning sun were great for breakfast and the internet was very fast. Bathroom was bit small for two tall people but c'est la vie, the shower was surprisingly great 👍」
