「I've stayed here before and after a second trip I feel I can make a fair assessment. The room was fairly newly decorated, neutral, comfy and clean. Walls very thin though TV was great, you can screen mirror from your phone or tablet which made our movie night. 「Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. 「We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. 「Food was excellent. Room was very comfortable. My usual bugbear is staffing and service but at this hotel I'd say 100 percent is selling them short . Could not ask for better service particularly in the savvy fox restaurant. Will definitely be staying here again. Only downside was we were only staying 1 night. Well done. 」
