「Great location in the heart of Oswestry. Parking at the property is a real bonus. Beautiful old building. The fantastic breakfast would come a close second to the lovely owners for the reasons to stay here.」

「Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time 」

「I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. 」

Room was warm on arrival which we appreciated Great value for money in good locations. There are a few areas to improve but they are minor and easily fixable. The room smellt a bit musky but this can be easily remedied with a plug in of some sort It would be nice to have 2 towels as there were two of us staying and to top up the shampoo and bodywash in...

The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
