「I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. Not much to do in the town - but OK to walk around for 1/2 day. I found a good dim sum place for breakfast. If you are looking...

「Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Allerdings müsste einiges renoviert werden, vor allem im Bad und der Fußboden. Die Fahrräder waren in einem schlechten Zustand, so dass eine längere Fahrradtour nicht möglich war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab genügend Auswahl.Man konnte vom Zimmer aus Vögel u.a. Störche beobachten und auch Äffchen kamen immer wieder zu Besuch.」

「This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip.」
