「I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. 「Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Es ist eine Unterkunft im typisch thailändischen Stil. Es sind kleine Holzhäuser- gepflegt und sauber. Die Besitzer sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier ist keine Touristenhochburg, sondern eine Resort in thailändischer Natürlichkeit. Es ist sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Wir werden wiederkommen.」

「Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Allerdings müsste einiges renoviert werden, vor allem im Bad und der Fußboden. Die Fahrräder waren in einem schlechten Zustand, so dass eine längere Fahrradtour nicht möglich war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab genügend Auswahl.Man konnte vom Zimmer aus Vögel u.a. Störche beobachten und auch Äffchen kamen immer wieder zu Besuch.」

「This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip.」

「Great place off the tourist trail. Beautiful location on the beach and an ok pool. Bit pricey for the location but a solid choice. Friendly staff and good clean bungalows. Standard breakfast but decent restaurant. 」

「Cheap and value for it's price. When I booked the hotel I've no idea it's gonna be great as this! Recommend!」

「Nice property at the edge of the city, with nothing around in walking distance. Front desk couldn’t help with any bus or ferry booking, couldn't advise on anything. There is a laminated price-list, offering every single thing for sale (TV, mattress, mini fridge, etc) never seen such thing in any hotel. Breakfast is decent, no complaints there.
