Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. "Wonderful place for wildlife spotting and red frogs! Comfortable room, super helpful staff. Beach is lovely although sea was rough. Quiet, good food, very laid back.You do need to walk through the jungle to get there, good path!"

"We loved our stay at this hotel it was very beautiful. We found it a bit tough getting back to our jungle lodge at night. The mountainous terrain was difficult to climb and when we called for shuttles they did not always come quickly. If I knew the terrain I would have tried to book a pricey golf cart for the week. By the time we caught on there were none available and we had to rely on the resort for transport. Not always a great option. "

If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. Away from anything else, in the middle of nature, beaches and gorgeous sealife! The residence was just perfect, with stunning views over the ocean and the jungle. Highly recommended!"
