「Pretty far out location. Very isolated and that can be good sometimes! Be prepared to take an expensive shuttle boat both ways offered twice a day and if you miss it, it's a $150 boat taxi. Cocktails were great! Restaurant was slow with okay food and relatively expensive, but no other options around. Bastimentos is a cool island, I found more to do on the island closer to Bocas Town. 」

If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. Away from anything else, in the middle of nature, beaches and gorgeous sealife! The residence was just perfect, with stunning views over the ocean and the jungle. Highly recommended!」
