「Overall the stay was enjoyable. The restaurant had good service, tasty food & a good selection of drinks. The hotel staff were approachable & helpful. There was some confusion with ordering room service breakfast. There were no eggs with the breakfast. The crazy golf was a nice bonus.」

「Quite a nice quiet place but not worth anything like what they charge. There were stains on the bed covers which they came and changed straight away. Breakfast wasn't worth bothering with, hardly anything there on the continental option, we waited a while for drinks that didnt come so we gave up and left.」

「We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large. 」

「The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.」

「Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.」

「The hotel stay was much better than i was expecting. The room was smallish but everything i needed, it was clean and the bed and bedding really comfortable. The food in the dining room was fantastic! The prices reflected the standard of food well. The price of the wine might have been a bit over the top, but it was my fault for not checking the prices beforehand.
