Two bedroom was quiet, safe, ABC store right out front, 3 minute walk from Waikiki Beach, 2 minute walk to the Outrigger pool, 2 minute walk to nightlife and dining, rental car place directly across the street. No cleaning services, they leave you alone the whole time. Only downside is if you lose a towel (we didn’t) they charge you $50 each… "

"Overall the property was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the check in process, especially with travellers flying in late in the evening. If it wasn't for one of the friendly tenants calling the security guard for me, we probably wouldn't be able to get into our suite. There's no front desk reception. So My suggestion to management is to email travellers of check in instructions and what to expect at least 3 days prior to check in. But other than that, our stay was great!"

"We’ve stayed at the banyan 3 times over the years and this room was by far the nicest and most modern. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds comfortable. A little stingy on the bathroom linens , only 2 face cloths and 2 hand towels for a week stay? Room was quiet with excellent view and ac worked well keeping the room at a perfect temperature. The pool area and rec area are older and in need of upgrade but we go to Hawaii for the ocean not the pool . Hope to stay again "

The only thing I dislike was how long it took for valet to get the car and also when coming back to the hotel, it was very busy and took forever for staff to park the car as its valet only not self parking.
