「The approach to the hotel there are loads of cigarette ends by the door way. Lots of rubbish in the bushes generally untidy. The pub itself externally is 3 different colours and the porchway roof had tiles missing 」

「Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was very nicely furnished and very good breakfast. Steep staircase to first and second floors. On street parking unless there's an event in Queens Park Rec.」

「Old but comfortable place, in a very quiet street. I stayed in a standard double room (No.21), which was spacious and clean. Be aware that the heating only comes on in the evening, though. There's private parking, although I arrived and departed by train; Crosshill station is only six or seven minutes' walk away, with regular services to and from the city centre. Although there are no facilities other than a kettle, tea and coffee in the room, there are plenty of shops, cafés and takeaways...
