「The house is very pretty and the decor helps to enhance the feel of just how old the house is. However, our room was on the third floor which would have been no problem except my mom had hurt her hip just before our trip and the stairs were difficult for her to get up and down- this house does not have an elevator. The location near Forsyth park is excellent- the parking was not very great as it is street parking and you have to contend with street sweeper days if you are there on Monday night...

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Gastonian. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The customer service was great. We enjoyed the personal touches such as made to order breakfast, complimentary snacks and drinks. Our room was spacious and clean. We know we are not in Savannah or at this hotel to watch tv, but a larger size TV would have been appreciated. And for people who have difficulties getting up and down stairs, you probably want to check with The Gastonian prior to booking.」

「This bed and breakfast is a beautiful old building in the historic district. They serve delicious home cooked breakfast and you can have it delivered to your room or eat in the dining room. 「What makes this place special is the staff working at the Inn. The two managers at the front desk are friendly, personal, having good knowledge and knowing the history about the town and the neighborhood. 「The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. 」
