「Check in was amazingly simple. She easily found my reservation and I was able to get checked in. We went to Cape Charles which was close in proximity for a family vacation. We didn’t spend much time in our room. The time spent in the room was well worth it. It was a spacious room with a nice clean energy. My only complaint is the toilet, it wasn’t clean. Had several urine stain lines running down the front of it. I brought Lysol wipers and Lysol air freshener to spray so it wasn’t a huge deal....

「Spring Break stay to see the ponies. What a lovely remodeled hotel. We had a king suite with a living area right on the water. The front desk ladies were very helpful with dining suggestions and actually cared that we had a good time. What a nice find. We would stay here again in a minute. 」

「We spent 3 nights in 2 over-water bungalows…4 generations ages 2 to 85. The houses were well equipped and maintained. Beds were comfy, tvs were great for nighttime watching. The front porch was a great place to hang out, eat, etc. my only suggestion is maybe put a rope ‘net’ at the end of the floating piers between the houses to make them a little safer for little children. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend a visit for this unique experience.」

「The hospitality at this traditional bed and breakfast was top notch. The rooms were comfortable with a fantastic view of the water. The beach was accessible from the house. The host, Mike, was very friendly and prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning, so much that I couldn’t quite finish it. Delicious. 「The front desk staff were amazing! They had answers for all the questions we asked about the area. Stanley greeted us with a purr. He has to be the sweetest cat ever! Shower water was perfectly hot, bed was comfy. Easy drive to restaurants and sights in the area. We were there in the winter and plan on coming back in the spring.」

「A nice little hotel. In a cute little town. It’s an old property, but it is very very clean. Do to the nature of the building you can hear everyone talking and walking. We were woken at 8:30 this morning by the room above us being vacuumed, which was very loud. Overall a nice stay!」
