「We really like this hotel. It was warm, charming, clean and the staff very nice. Great spots to eat right on location and full continental breakfast is included. However, there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue. This may be a problem. Also, parking is free and behind the hotel not far. 」

「We stayed here for a concert at turning stone and it was super cool! Clean, warm, and cozy. Super historic, has a little museum and you can tour the mansion. Highly recommend!!! 」

「Enroute to the motel, I took a look at some prior reviews and got real nervous. Luckily, I found them to be very misleading (false even.) Cons - Entering the room (#1) it smelled like cigarettes. The southwest corner of the ceiling looked like it could fall in. The shower is very small. The commode space is even smaller. There was no soap provided. 「Wonderful old school inn.. very comfortable feeling. Room was very clean with an updated bathroom.. had cocktails in the pub.. what a great place to unwind.. had dinner in the dining room.. excellent prime rib, best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back. 」

「They supposedly didn’t know we were coming, there was a mouse in the toilet, the floors had not been swept, they had a bunch of food and in the freezer and fridge, liquor had been out, no wifi or service, the bed sheets were dirty, no curtains on any of the windows, the doors and ALL windows were unlocked when we got there but the didn’t know we were coming? 」
