「I found this property last Fall when I was in town on short notice. Being a small businessman myself, I always try and support non franchise hotels when possible. The Railroad Inn looked good on Expedia so I took the chance. I loved it! Super accommodating staff when I needed late check in, and a clean room with a comfortable bed. 「I'm glad that the listing no longer includes breakfast in the amenities list, because there is none. Owner did make some good restaurant recommendations when asked. A surprising lacking amenity was shampoo/conditioner, so take your own -- this is a budget hotel, quaint (decked out for the season) and sufficient. 「Enroute to the motel, I took a look at some prior reviews and got real nervous. Luckily, I found them to be very misleading (false even.) Cons - Entering the room (#1) it smelled like cigarettes. The southwest corner of the ceiling looked like it could fall in. The shower is very small. The commode space is even smaller. There was no soap provided.
