「Check in was very strange and not welcoming- the woman at the desk did not say anything to me other than to ask my name- no welcome not even a hello. She didn’t ask to see my ID or my credit card. 「The bathroom had broken tile and missing grout. The shower had built in body wash, shampoo and conditioner but 2 of the 3 didn’t work even though I could see they were full. The lock on our door kept making noises. The people above us had children they allowed to just run back and forth and you could hear every footstep. It kept waking up our 7 month old. 「Rooms are to far from the check in. Tv's are small and not smart tvs. Restaurants in the area are limited at best. Bluefield i am.afraid is stuck in a time warp and so is this hotel. I could smell the stinch of years of cigarette smoking in my room even though the hotel is smoke free.」

「What a quaint little B&B. Stayed in the George Washington Room. Nice comfortable beds. Excellent star worthy breakfast they bring you in their cafe. If you need options due to allergies or food intolerance, Kit and Gary will take care of it. The staff is very kind and always helpful. True southern hospitality. OMG the biscuits though.....what I would give to get those again. 5* and its an honest 5*.」
