「Excellent week stay at this lovely Guesthouse. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for local restaurants from the staff. Very accessible for the beach, train and buses with a gentle walk to Cascais along the promenade. Would recommend!!! 」

「Casa do Governador is a most pleasant small (7 rooms) agro-tourism hotel located in the countryside of the Alentejo Province. Manual and his staff are helpful and friendly. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous, especially the pool area and the various outside lounges near the main house. Having a car is a must to stay. The town of Evora is at a 12 to 15 minutes drive. It’s a midsize town full of history. Worth visiting with a guide.」

「This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So...
