The descriptions of the walk start points could have been better on the map, but in general they were a great tip. This is a great service and a good way to see the island and its highlights, especially if you are short of time. And if you don't eellike waiting for the hop on hop off bus, it's pretty easy and inexpensive to get onto a regular bus just by using your debit/credit card - just scan it on the bus.

We had a great day exploring Waiheke Island. It was smooth sailing both ways. The Hop-on, Hop-off bus was waiting to pick us up when we arrived and the commentary throughout our visit was excellent. Lots of very interesting places to get off the bus to explore, and some lovely wines and beers to sample. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

If you are ever in Auckland and you want a great day out, visit Waiheke Island using the Ferry & Hop-on Hop-Off Explorer, excellent value for money and a fantastic way to explore the island, make sure you visit the Mudbrick Vineyard, lovely setting with great views and a must is the Heke brewery where we had one of the best smashed burgers ever, we had such a great time, well worth doing!
