Very enjoyable trip with lots to see. The Raine Falls are stunning. It is a lot of steps but worth it to reach each platform and see the falls from different levels. There are lifts for those who need it and the lifts bring you back up to the visitors centre. I would imagine it is crazy busy in the summer but I visited in March and the weather was perfect and it was easy to view the falls. The walking tour of Stein am Rhein was nice and steady. The town is traditional and beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and then we had some free time before heading back to Zurich.

The Waterfall was great to see and the boat experience was also great. Stein am Rhein was an idyllic little village, with nteresting buildings The area was easily walkable. However it was an exceptionally hot, sunny day and the little van in which we were transported there and back wasn't suitable for the conditions. The air- con obviously couldn't cope and there was a large sun roof through which the hot sun poured, making the journey extremely uncomfortable.
