The tour stops were well worth the trip but the bus driver/tour guide left a lot to be desired. He drove the bus recklessly, swore constantly even though there were children on the bus and in general displayed erratic behavior. I was very happy when the tour ended because I was unnerved by the driver/guide. I have never had an experience like this with Expedia. Very disappointed to say the least.

The tour destinations are great, but man, I’ve never had a worse tour guide. On the ride to Muir Woods, there was an incident where the tour guide verbally attacked another passenger for speaking during his guide talk. To be clear, the passenger was not being loud or disruptive. His seat mate, who was from India, had asked him something about the tour, and he was answering when the tour guide began berating him. He called him a big shot and said he could kick off anyone who didn’t listen to him. I’ve been on lots of tours and never had a guide that expected absolute silence. (Thomas, in fact, said that we should pretend like we’re in a library, although even libraries let you whisper.)
