"The Mora Zanzibar is an excellent hotel. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of small issues. First the room cleaning service was mediocre. The additional services are pricey. The staff at the Horizon was amazing which made the stay that more enjoyable. They offer a variety of restaurants but you need to book through the app prior to arriving others you may be out of luck. Overall great stay and I would recommend to family and friends. "

"Melia was a beautiful hotel with a very cosy room. The room was modern designed, private and was very comfortable. It offered the perfect solo retreat for me. "This property was clean and offered various dining options. While I did not utilize the restaurants that required reservations, I did use the main dining option (Maisha, I believe). After a few days, I was tired of the food. In my opinion, every buffet should have chicken, and I did not see chicken on every lunch and dinner buffet. "The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "
