"We booked the barrel suana cabin, it was a cute little cabin with an outdoor bath tub and wood fired sauna. All the staff were so professional, polite and friendly especially ishigawa and keiko. "It is a quiet and nice area with a lake and see the majestic Mt. Fuji, indoor pool, outdoor hot springs and indoor public bath. However, the staff do no speak much English, so are the room Tv- no English programs, the remote control doesn’t have English as display and no English menu. We really hope the hotel can improve these. Other than that, the food are excellent."

"We loved this hotel, however it is BIG! The service is amazing and the onsens are fantastic. The garden is also very beautiful. It lacks in walk ability, although we did make the track into town which took about 20 minutes on a busy farm road. The drum show and tea ceremony which are both complementary were both lovely. The dinner set was 9 small courses and were of fantastic quality, but we were definitely tired of sashimi by this time. The breakfast is buffet style and offers many choices from pancakes to miso soup and fish. We chose this hotel specifically for the private onsen and that did not disappoint myself or my teenage daughter. The public onsen that I used were also very nice. The view of mnt Fuji is stunning."

"Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our room was on level 7, which is the same level as the onsen, so it was very convenient for us to use the onsen. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. Both meals were buffets, with a good variety of food choices. We drove, so parking was really free and convenient. Overall, nice stay, friendly staff and good amenities. "

"Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view of Mt Fuji. It is a grand yellow hotel nestled in the hillside so the hotel itself is quite picturesque. We booked a room with a private indoor onsen with a spectacular view of the Mt Fuji from the room including from the onsen. The water was hot and relaxing and the hotel has free bath salts of several fragrances to add to the water. The breakfast is quite good with a large variety of food. Dinner also has a lot of variety and quantity. It is not directly in Kawaguchiko and is about a 15 minute drive away from the station with a free hotel shuttle to and from the station. Definitely worth it for the view."
