"Hard to live here without a car, it’s far from downtown in a city without much commotion. Everything else is satisfactory but soundproof is a problem, can clearly hear other people and cleaning staff when they simply walking by outside, and neighbors accidentally banging on the wall is a bit scary at night. "I stayed 1 night at this hotel. I really like that it’s located close to the train and bus station. We had a Western/Japanese style room which is very spacious compared to the rooms I’ve stayed in throughout my trip in Japan. The breakfast was amazing. However, I was totally disappointed when I was told the is in NO outdoor onsen, which was very strange since their website stated that they have both indoors and outdoor bath. "First time in Kobe. Nice hotel in the harbor. I stayed in a corner suite on the 9th floor. Had a great view of the harbor. Was nice to sit out on the deck at night and have a drink. The second morning staying a cruise ship pulled up right beside the hotel. It was so quiet you wouldn't even know they were coming in.
