Woodinville Whiskey Co Tours

Enjoy a whiskey or vodka tasting, take a tour and learn more about the whiskey-making process at Woodinville’s famous distillery.

For an authentic taste of American whiskey, visit Woodinville Whiskey Co. Since 2010, the Washington distillery has been making its distinctive spirits in the small town of Woodinville. Its flagship creations include Headlong White Dog Whiskey, an un-aged clear whiskey, and Peabody Jones, an award-winning vodka. Stop by to explore the operations and have a tasting.

Take a tour of the distillery and learn more about the whiskey-making process. Check out the impressive 1-ton (0.9-metric-ton) copper still, where the spirits are made. See the carefully chosen ingredients, including corn, rye, wheat and malted barley, all grown locally in Washington. These go into the vat, giving the whiskey its distinctive taste. See the process unfold before your eyes, from milling to barreling. Tours are held daily and reservations are not necessary.

Visit Woodinville Whiskey Co.’s tasting room, which is attached to its distillery. Try a straight bourbon whiskey, American whiskey or rye variety. The tasting room is open daily. If you find something you like, purchase a bottle in the distillery’s store to bring home to savor later.

Learn more about the distillery’s unique history. Woodinville Whiskey Co. was founded in 2010. Unlike most of its counterparts, which are located in Kentucky, its founders chose Washington for pure ingredients, pristine water and unique aging conditions.

Ironically, Woodinville Whiskey Co. is situated in the heart of Washington’s wine country. Located between the Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound, Woodinville is home to over 100 wineries and wine tasting rooms, along with a variety of microbreweries and distilleries. Sip your way through this remarkable region with tastings of outstanding beverages.

Find the distillery in the town’s Hollywood neighborhood. Hike or bike along winding nature trails. Enjoy stunning views of snow-capped Mount Rainier. Explore the neighborhood’s friendly streets, full of bustling shops and delicious dining options, which serve as the perfect follow-up to your whiskey tasting at Woodinville Whiskey Co.
