"As a woman traveling solo on business, I felt very safe staying in Winston-Salem at this B&B. The Alspaugh King Room is gorgeous. It is thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is just incredible, with a claw-foot tub and a large shower. They even gave me complimentary wine and pretzels at check-in. Three restaurants were just a short walk away, too. I loved every minute of staying here - it was incredibly relaxing after a long day of travel. "

"We lived staying at the Shaffer Inn ! Everyone was super friendly including Randall, Alyssa and Molly. The Wachovia room was enormous and well decorated, included a very nice bathroom with all the amenities you could ask for. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic !"
