The reception staff are really welcoming.. I remember this hotel as the valley lodge many years ago it looks like it's undergoing a update and it just has a really nice vibe.. I'm having to stay 3 days till I complete my house and I'm a older lady alone here and I feel very safe and the extra bonus visiting a spa at a minimum cost

You get exactly for what you pay for. For its price, it gets the job done but I personally wouldn't stay here by choice. There was public wifi in the lobby and smoking areas but you were prompt to pay for wifi in your room. The staff were helpful but not enthusiastic. The grounds were dated and it showed.

The unique feature about this hotel was the quality of customer service and the warm welcome on arrival, especially in an airport hotel. The staff were a credit to the company. The shuttle service was clean, prompt and very welcome!!Yes parts of the property were a little dated and in need of some attention but it was still comfortable and quiet. Would always be my first choice from now on. Thank you for a much needed quiet and comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel if your blind
First Air Conditioning broken and supplied electric fan broke. Original shower broken, split tap shower head mounted so you had to crouch to use, water temp completely random every few seconds. Plumbing pipework and siliconing must have been done by a blind person. Stickers of notice left stuck to walls with no relevance to the room anymore. Front of house very nice and welcoming, smelt clean and fresh. Corridors on level 2 just rough, all door frames we beaten up, only location to Airport a bonus

I was booked a taxi from the hotel to take me to Wilmslow Station. I maybe wrong but i would like to know how much the taxi fare is from hotel to station. I fear the driver altered the meter reading from £8.40 to £13. Therefore, if i was ripped off then should the hotel be using such a company.I did challenge the price later that day and have since called a few days later. They are telling me the driver was correct in his pricing... i was surprised because when i mentioned it on Sunday.. they said driver was wrong to overcharge but now they have changed their minds and said fare should have been £15. Please look into this. Thank you
