"The hotel and staff were great and the place was very clean. My only challenge was speaking to a person from the hotel. They must use a service and those people would not connect me to the hotel - at one point one of the customer service agents yelled at me that it was HIS job to answer my questions - that the hotel was busy. But once we got to the actual hotel everyone was really nice. "

"This is a very clean and comfortable place at a great price point. The best thing is the really sweet couple running the place. It's an old property but for the price it is safe, clean and what you need for a couple good nights of sleep. I came here for a marathon in Shiner so it was a good location. It's near HEB and a few interesting towns like Luling and Gonzalez on the fringe of hill country. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was brand new and had everything one could possibly need. It is private , quiet and in a natural setting. I am so happy that I stumbled across it looking for a staging spot for viewing the 8 April solar eclipse. The food and wine at the winery was fantastic, we highly recommend a stay. Tad& Wendy "
