"An old hotel that is being given a new life. Remodeling happening all over the site, including the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had fresh fixtures, paint etc. Amenities were sparse but this is a budget-friendly hotel, so don't expect a lot. Walls are thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors. "

"Hardy any of the outlets worked in the room. No rugs - which in winter and snow doesn’t work. Floor was wet for awhile. Shower was pleasantly nice. Ok - not sure we would stay here again. "

"Very nice setting. Comfortable renovated saddlery building. Very convenient to walk to restaurants and events. Only complaint has to do with the lack of sound barriers between units. It sounded like our neighbors were in our unit. Otherwise, a very nice place. "

The property is old and a bit dated, but it's very clean and the parts that matter have been updated, like the furniture. I loved that I could open the windows, old places are nice like that. It's a simple place but has a lot of thoughtful touches. Best of all, there's a couple restaurants within walking distance. I only had a couple drawbacks: my room had a baked in scent to it, like old cigarette smoke...
