"Never having stayed in Eugene before, we took a chance on a non-chain hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, bed comfy; in the sweet bar on property the bartender (Taylor) fixed me a fantastic cocktail & poured my husband a beer and we had a great time playing shuffleboard before going next door for some pizza. Look forward to visiting again when it’s not dark & rainy so we can rent a couple bikes and see the campus & town."

"The room was "ok" - lower end of the price spectrum so lower end of the comfort spectrum. Bedding was a bit threadbare but adequate for Nov. temps with the heater. Very nice continental breakfast!"

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The owner was there to greet us and gave us great advice for our road trip. They were very friendly and helpful. The property is filled with wonderful antiques, it is very charming. The property used to be someone’s dream lake house and is now a wonderful place to rest by the lake. "

"It was a nice quiet place to stay. Ice machine did not work but they helped us at the front desk. Furnishings are a bit dated but fine."

"Beautiful and unique setting within a short little walk to the McKenzie River. Our Cabin was next to the little creek that flows into the River about 100 yards up. Booked Nov, 30-Dec, 2nd."
