"Noticed effort to improve property. Lacked suitable lighting in room and bathroom. No hair dryer, very limited view from room. Lobby not inviting, breakfast food and eating area very substandard."

"Wonderful and relaxing stay. Wonderful bar, artwork/museum and restaurant area. Layed back atmosphere was just what we needed. Did not use the pool area but wasn't busy, just a few couples using it. Huge shower is one of my favorites about this hotel."

"Person at desk was on the phone and I waited to get checked in. By the time she was done there were many people in line after me. She shoukd have had help. I came down later to ask a question and she was on the phone so long I walked away. Room was clean and adequate for what we needed."

"The hotel has a stylish lobby with a really cool marble fireplace on the second floor, a nice spot to hang out, and that exits onto a pedestrian walking area. Conveniently, a Frye’s grocery is across the street. There are numerous restaurants just steps away. Chico Malo was wonderful upscale Mexican food, beautiful and delicious. The fourth floor has a lovely pool and a cool rooftop bar. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. It worked out well for attending a convention, only 3 blocks to get there. There is morning coffee on the 2nd floor and throughout the day there was ice water infused with strawberries. My only negative I can think of is that our room’s furnishings, while stylish, were getting worn, the upholstery was peeling off the chairs, but maybe that was just this room. I would stay again. "
