"Good place to stay in the heart of very nice small town of Vilaflor. Really good value for money. There is a well-equipped guest kitchen. A supermarket is located next door, but has only small selection, and the same applies to the two other local supermarkets. Bus connections here are fairly good, but only one bus per day to Teide, which can be full to the last seat. Staff was friendly and helpful although I didn't meet them, just communicated through WhatsApp. My main complain is lack of warm...

"Just had a great stay at the Hotel Medano. Great staff, big rooms, nice bathroom, good air conditioning and clean. The breakfast quality and choice was very good. The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe. I booked a seaview room butcthe seaview rooms with a balcony can see right into the room when sitting on their balcony."

"This is our 5th stay at the Santa Barbara and the first time we've been uncomfortable around the pool! We planned a relaxing week sunning ourselves around the pool as usual, however, the amount of children/toddlers running around the main pool was unbearable. Screaming children, balls thrown around the pool aswell as ball games in the pool was nothing wed experienced here on our previous stays. Children should be in the childrens pool not the main pool where people are trying to relax."

"I must admit l had a very enjoyable stay meals and entertainment was top notch. The only draw back was if you are a little infirm ,short of breath and find stairs a little overwhelmed this hotel is not for you . They have designed ramps to combat this problem as the hotel as it is built on an incline say that the facilities are of a five star hotel"

"My goddaughter and I did a 3 day visit and saw that this Hotel was close to the Airport and bus transportation was right outside of the hotel. The bedroom was separated from the lil kitchen and living room. Would definitely recommend and if ever have an opportunity to come back, would definitely stay here again."

"At the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of bubbly which was a nice added touch. The hotel was very clean. We had half board. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with lots of choice, and there was entertainment every evening. "Arrived 1:30pm. Checked in and luggage stored. Room not available until 4pm. Requested a seaview when booking in March. None available. Was offered to upgrade to the Penthouse with all round views, hot tub and bed & breakfast for £300 extra for 3 of us - so why not. Been several times so knew what was on offer. No hot water for showers until part way into 2nd day. Room wasn't cleaned for check in time 4pm. Hot tub was cleaned either until day 3 - certainly not what was expected for upgrade fee....

"All of the staff from the Reception area through to Dinning were always smiling, friendly and always at hand to help with anything or just a chat. The hotel has a great relaxed vibe which is a great credit to the staff. We found the location to be fabulous as walking along the coast one way took us towards Adeje and the other to Los Cristianos. "All the staff were fantastic and friendly, especially the hard so but happy team in the restaurant!! The rooms were tired and basic but ok, air con was ok! The property is at the edge of both las americas and los christianos so costs about €8-10 each way in a taxi. Main pool absolutely Baltic but middle one fantastic hence the beds all going by 8am!!"
