"The Hotel is grand as compared to any around the SF downtown area which charge more than the Canterbury Wyndham. The location, interior of the rooms and facilities of the kitchen were excellent. Will book again when in the area."

"Our stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations! Very clean,lots of cooking items to make simple meals and a super comfortable bed. The location is ideal for sightseeing. Fisherman’s wharf is within walking distance, Alcatraz visible from the rooftop deck and Lombard Street a few blocks away plus a trolley right outside the door! Area felt very safe. "Wonderful location in middle of union square. Can walk everywhere. Note: quite a few homeless in the area but no issues. Hotel was friendly, helpful and we encountered some initial problems with our room (heat and drain) but they quickly fixed by moving us to an equal room. The spa floor is beautiful. The valet and security are terrific and so friendly. Rooms are roomy and comfortable. Very nice stay. Note- they do a vacation resort sales pitch at checkin but not pushy if you aren’t...
