Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"We were there during Hurricane Helena, Staff could not have been more helpful not only to the guests but the families who came who lost everything and needed a hot meal, bottled water and a roll of TP. A strong community spirit when everyone was reaching out for comfort and basic needs and the hotel accommodated everyone for many days."
