"This is my fourth time in Tokyo and first time staying in Ueno. Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno Okachimachi was at a very good location, close to the JR line which made travel with 3 younger children just that bit more easy. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The only drawback was the washing/drying machines that always seemed to be busy, but you can check on their status through the website. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We will stay again. "

"My sister and I stayed at Ueno Hotel for 10 days—the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I had no problem speaking with them in English. The room itself is on the smaller side but we could fit a carry on and two checked in bags in our room with enough space to spare for walking around. "Overall pretty good experience. The blinds was letting in light when the sun rises even though it's closed. There's little areas where the light goes through. No room cleaning for consecutive night stay. Also self service to get new towels and amenities and you'll have to throw away trash daily. About 5-8 mins walk to Ueno station which is convenient. There's also 7-11 and Family mart nearby. Staff are friendly and polite. Easy check-in and check-out. "
