"If we could give zero stars, we would. Our stay was a disaster. On the first night, we discovered a serious gas leak, requiring us to call the fire department. After hours of dealing with the issue, they shut off the gas and confirmed that the water heater needed inspection. The following morning, the heater malfunctioned again, and we had to shut off the main gas entirely as per the fire department, leaving us without hot water, heat, or the ability to cook for the rest of our stay. "I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds. "My stay at this adorable cottage right on Mirror Lake was incredible. It is 2 beds and 2 bath, so for me it was the perfect size. I would much rather the home be well located and beautifully decorated, which this cottage definitely was! I love getting build fires every night and walk around the adorable Mirror Lakes neighborhood during the day. The issues i have are 1 i was under the impression that the grill was available for use, which everything was there but the LP tank was empty so the Steaks i bought to grill had to be broiled instead and the Burgers i bought to grill had tk be cooked on the stove top.
